Hello everyone! Time for a quick update on Chainsaw Wizards, Hecatomb Creeps and Other Ungodly Bastards as the end of the month rapidly approaches. What we've got for you today is the final list of villains, along with some all-new art by the super-talented Adrian Landeros.
The final list of villains (in name only) is as follows:

Yargos-Tul, “the Black Omen”
Yugglukk, the Hand of Vaprak
Yula “the Mistress of Flies"
We don't want to bury the lead by telling you much more, but needless to say this book has swelled from its original prediction of 60(ish) pages)!
Now, to go along with those names, here's a few pieces of all-new art not featured in the Kickstarter to let you know what you're in store for.
There's some old fashioned, weird fantasy ass whoopins coming your PCs' way, that's for sure.
Before I dip out, I want to mention the latest project from Planet X Games that's launching on Kickstarter in just a few days - THE CLOSET OF THE EYE WIZARD! You can find it in all its eye-seeing glory HERE - consider hitting that Notify Me on Launch button and joining us on the first day to see what all the fuss is about.
Thanks again for supporting this project! It wouldn't exist without you!

Heading Into August... Time for a Fresh Update!

Hello everyone! I hope the Summer is treating everyone kindly and the heatwaves haven't evaporated your healing potions. As we head into August, let's do a quick update!
The writing has been completed for some time and all submissions from guest collaborators has been received as well. We've handed everything over to our editor, so we should see a return on that very soon.
Additional art pieces have been rolling in from illustrator extraordinaire Adrian Landeros and they are looking universally awesome. Here's a work in progress (for the world-wrecking kaiju Grulok, the God-Ape) he just sent me last night.
Work in progress...
In the weeks to come I'll have more art previews and updates, but right now we're in the doldrums of putting this bad boy together. Its gonna look awesome and I am in love with some of the content we're bringing to the table. Looking forward to getting this into your hands!
Thanks again for backing and believing in Chainsaw Wizards, Hecatomb Creeps and Other Ungodly Bastards!

Contributing Writer Update + Some Dope Art!

Hey everyone!
Here’s a quick sneak peak at some bonus content for CHAINSAW WIZARDS, HECATOMB CREEPS AND OTHER UNGODLY BASTARDS, courtesy of the talented mind of my friend, fellow independent publisher and contributing writer Jayson “Rocky“ Gardner.
This is Tharundun, known as “the Snow That Eats” among the native folk of the high passes. Is it a ravenous supernatural force? Some sort of strange yeti/great ape hybrid creature? An ancient monster bonded to the land on which it hunts? Something else even more terrifying?
You’ll have to check out CHAINSAW WIZARDS, HECATOMB CREEPS AND OTHER UNGODLY BASTARDS to know for sure!

Monster Squad rules.
Hello everyone! Quick update as we zero in on the final few days of funding for the project.
First up! Two more guest creators have been added to the growing list of writers who will be pitching in new weird villains for the book!
Both Skeeter Green from SGP and John McGuire from 321… Action Games have agreed to come onboard and serve up some insanely strange villains to plug and play right into your weird fantasy games! im a fan of both these guys so I know they’ll be bringing the heat. Its a real pleasure to have these guys along for the ride.
Also, a reminder! If you are in the Dallas/Ft Worth area this week(end), stop by North Texas RPG Con and say hello to us! We’ll be at the Planet X/Independent Publisher’s Union booth with all kinds of great stuff available. Swing through and get all the RPGs, zines and high fives you can handle.
In addition, my IPU brother from another mother Skeeter Green has an all new Kickstarter that’s up and running strong. What lurks in those places the darkness touches? You can check out UnderLand HERE.
Thanks again for backing rhis project - you guys raaaaawk!

HUGE thanks to everyone who has pledged, shared, tweeted, retweeted, told your sister's boyfriend's cousin and generally sent good vibes our way for Chainsaw Wizards, Hecatomb Creeps and Other Ungodly Bastards! Not only did we fund, but we exceeded our first day expectations.
So, what does this mean for you, especially since there are no listed stretch goals?
Not only does the book get bigger and badder, but I'm going to be reaching out to a few indie creators that I admire and respect to see if they'd like to include some unusual weird fantasy adversaries and crank of the villainy factor all around. As of this morning, Zac Goins of World of Game Design and Jayson "Rocky" Gardner of Silver Bulette have both turned in some AWESOME villains. The man who makes this damn project look so good - Adrian Landeros - will be illustrating both as well. As the project funds even higher, expect to keep seeing more and more content. There's tons more coming!
Before I dip out, there are a few crowdfunding projects that are absolutely worth your time to check out. There's so much good stuff out there these days and these two are definitely no exception.
Jim Wampler of Mudpuppy Games has launched Scientific Barbarian 5 and if the preview images and past issues are any indication, this is gonna be a stone cold banger. Its got a helluva line up of RPG talent involved and it was an instant back for me. Find it here:
Our man in Amsterdam Skeeter Green is also preparing to launch his latest foray into the subterranean world beneath your players' feet with Underland, compatible for Swords & Wizardry, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Mutant Crawl Classics and Dungeons & Dragons. Skeeter has been putting out great material with SGP for years now and I never miss a project. Find it below:
Wrapping up, I just want to express my true gratitude for your trust in myself and Planet X Games to bring this book to you. This has been a pet project of mine for awhile. I am super stoked to get this into your hands and see it in print. Without you guys and your very generous support, there would be no Planet X.
Having said that, check out a few pieces of interior art from your new book!
Hellantra "Hell-Eyes", the Butcher of Bruunwald. They say she can kill with a glance as easily as with her axe... and why do her eyes bleed? Art bh Adrian Landeros
We promised you BIG, BIG threats and our menacing take on Baba Yaga should do the trick. Art by Adrian Landeros
Yula "the Mistress of Flies" proves that not all natural disasters are entirely natural. As outlander demon-worshiping heretics who listen to the whispers of locusts go, she's pretty alright! Art by Adrian Landeros
